[Surrey/White Rock, BC] – [Nov 15, 2025] – The recent "Concert of Gratitude," organized by the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Youth Group, successfully raised $4,000 to support local healthcare, showcasing a powerful collaboration between youth volunteers, community leaders, and eco-conscious enterprises. The event, held on November 15, featured live music, dance performances, a silent auction, and charity sales.
EcoFabrica, a student-led organization promoting sustainable fashion, served as a key sponsor for the event. In collaboration with EcoNStyle Foundation, they hosted a pop-up booth showcasing their eco-conscious products, including up-cycled handbags and apparel made from recycled materials. A portion of the day's sales contributed to the event's success, with EcoFabrica making an additional direct donation of $100 from its proceeds.
The concert garnered significant community and political support, with attendees including:
Member of Parliament Ernie Klassen
Member of the Legislative Assembly Trevor Halford
Surrey Councillor Linda Annis
White Rock Councillors Anthony Manning and Susan Mahal
The White Rock Youth Ambassadors
The collective efforts resulted in a total of $4,000 raised for the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society, which supports the vital work of the Peace Arch Hospital.
