SURREY, BC – September 2025  In September 2025, EcoFabrica, a youth-led enterprise dedicated to sustainable apparel and home deco products, proudly supported a community-driven charity plant sale initiated by Sandra, a passionate and well-connected local gardener.

Recognizing fall as the prime season for transplanting, Sandra leveraged her network of over 300 gardening enthusiasts to launch a charitable initiative. Her friends generously donated plants from their own gardens, which were then sold to the community with all proceeds dedicated to the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society.

To bolster this sustainable fundraiser, EcoFabrica designed and produced a limited run of special charity tote bags, featuring three unique garden-themed designs. The sale of these reusable, eco-friendly totes contributed directly to the campaign, helping raise a combined $3000+ for the Auxiliary Society, which supports patient care at Peace Arch Hospital.

"This initiative was a beautiful example of community in action—sharing plants, passion, and purpose," said Sandra. "EcoFabrica's support was important. Their specially designed totes not only added a creative element to our sale but also amplified our message of sustainability and giving. It was wonderful to see a youth-led business so engaged in local causes."

EcoFabrica's Junior Ambassador, Susie Deng, documented the event and conducted an interview with Sandra, capturing the story behind the sale.

"Supporting Sandra's plant sale was a perfect alignment for EcoFabrica," said Susie. "It celebrated local gardening, promoted reuse through our totes, and directed funds to a vital community institution. It shows how sustainability and community support can grow together."

This partnership highlights EcoFabrica's commitment to acting as a catalyst for local, environmentally conscious philanthropy. By providing creative products that align with community-led initiatives, the brand continues to foster a culture of giving back and sustainable living in Metro Vancouver.
